MOUNT JASAR & PERDAH EXPEDITION

On 19th - 21st Nov 2010, Sekretariat Rakan Muda MMU Melaka organized a group binding activity for Ngabas Borneo 2011 in Cameron Highlands, Pahang. As an optional activity, we planned to hike Mt. Jasar and Perdah. Mount Jasar (5526') and Mount Perdah (5173') are near to each other. we took only 2 hours to complete the trekking. We started by trekking Mt Jasar first, then Mt Perdah and ended up at Tanah Rata town. Below are the chronological events of the whole trekking.

The starting point...O'ly Apartment at tanah Rata

Behind O'ly Apartment we can see this garden...it's actually a private nursery

The entrance to the private nursery and to the Mt Jasar's trek

The quorum...only 4 of us..Ongah, Bob, Me and Azmir

Along the way to Mt. Jasar

Nice view

Beautiful background just before reaching Mt. Jasar's peak

At the peak of Mt Jasar...after an hour trekking

Taking picture b4 moving to Mt Perdah...

30 minutes trekking from Mt Jasar...we reached Mt Perdah's peak

The Orang Asli Village from Mt Perdah...we can also go down through this village

But we chose to go down through TNB

Easy trekking...everybody's still healthy

If we start trekking from Mt. Perdah to Jasar...we'll start from here

From TNB to Tanah Rata town, it is quite a distance... luckily there was a 4wd to take us there...pheww
As a whole, the trekking was quite easy. No need to bring so much food but at least must have enough water. The view was magnificent especially along the way to Mt Jasar and at the peak of Mt Jasar.
